Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Building Automation Specialist II to support service and construction projects as a technical lead. You will perform complex programming, troubleshoot Building Management System issues, and assist project field teams through checkout and commissioning.

Collaborate with Project Managers, customers, and subcontractors, diagnose programming issues, and create graphics logic strategies from Sequences of Operation for central plants and large HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of experience as a Specialist I or equivalent.
• Experience diagnosing complex programming issues and implementing corrections.
• Experience with BMS and HVAC or building controls.
• Ability to create complex graphics logic strategies from Sequences of Operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead service and construction projects as technical lead.
• Perform complex programming and troubleshoot BMS issues.

• No on-call service is currently being provided, but it is anticipated in the future

Must Haves:

DAY TO DAY:

The Building Automation Specialist II will support service and construction projects as a technical lead. This person will perform complex programming, troubleshoot Building Management System issues, support project field teams through checkout and commissioning, and work closely with Project Managers, customers, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the service lead for planned preventive maintenance, service calls, and projects when applicable
• Execute complex programming and system corrective actions
• Act as a primary resource to Project Managers for daily project status reports
• Serve as the technical lead for project field teams during checkout and commissioning processes
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex Building Management System issues
• Diagnose complex programming issues and implement corrections
• Create complex graphics logic strategies from Sequences of Operation for central plants and large HVAC systems
• Serve as the Holaday-Parks lead in commissioning and functional testing meetings
• Write and execute customer Method of Procedure and MCM documentation
• Manage subcontractor daily reports and performance
• Serve as the point of contact for necessary corrective actions involving subcontractors
• Perform other duties as project needs dictate
