Role Description

The Jr. Backend Software Developer ( Node.js) is a full-time, on-site role based in Exton, PA. This role involves contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of back-end services and APIs that power Quantic’s cloud-based POS platform. The developer will collaborate with senior engineers to implement new features, fix bugs, and improve performance, while following established coding standards and best practices. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and testable Node.js code, integrating front-end components, participating in code reviews, and working closely with product and QA teams to ensure reliable releases.

Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to Front-End Development and Redux.js, with the ability to integrate front-end components with back-end services.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web application architectures, with basic knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and to follow version control practices (e.g., Git).
