Job summary

MANTECH in Springfield, VA is seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer to join a motivated team focused on Azure cloud solutions and customer success. You will contribute to delivering engineering and support tasks on Azure platforms and related ITSM workflows.

You will work with Agile practices, plan activities in MS Project and Azure DevOps, and collaborate with clients to resolve issues quickly while growing in a cybersecurity-conscious environment requiring DoD 8140 readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1 year of related technical experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of System Engineering Lifecycle phases and Microsoft Azure.
• Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure, cloud, and application-level errors under tight timelines.
• DoD 8140 baseline credential within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve Microsoft Azure customers by executing project tasks, supervising work, reporting progress.
• Deliver Systems Engineering and Systems Administration for Azure, ITSM, Sentris and Sentris-integrated solutions.
• Assist with design and implementation using Agile methodologies; plan activities in MS Project, ADO, etc.
• Identify high-risk areas and present recommendations; build relationships with key client personnel.
• Coordinate root-cause analysis for complex Azure and integrated environmental errors.
