Job summary
Independent Software, Inc. is seeking a Junior Azure Cloud Engineer in Maryland to design, implement, and support Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
You will help modernize IT infrastructure, migrate systems to the cloud, and maintain secure, reliable cloud operations. You will work with experienced engineers on hybrid environments, automate tasks with PowerShell and Azure CLI, and lead small migration projects while expanding your cloud engineering skills in a dynamic team focused
Qualifications
- Design and implement Azure solutions across VNets, VPNs, load balancers, Azure AD, and App Services.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and identity integrations.
- Support hybrid cloud environments with Azure AD Connect and Exchange Hybrid configurations.
- Lead smaller migration projects such as mailbox migrations and SharePoint Online migrations.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy Azure solutions including VNets, VPNs, and App Services.
- Administer Exchange Online and SharePoint Online in Microsoft 365.
- Support hybrid environments and identity integrations.
- Guide mailbox and SharePoint migrations to Azure.
- Automate cloud tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Graph API.
- Monitor and optimize Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and networking teams for secure operations.
