Job summary

Leidos Defense Electrical Systems Department is seeking entry-level Avionics Engineers for its Hypersonics line of business to support the CHGB program. The role involves working through hardware life cycle phases from manufacturing to post-delivery support in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical Engineering and 0+ years of experience, strong communication, and ability to work with external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 0+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to engage with external stakeholders.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with reading engineering drawings, electrical schematics, cable/wiring diagrams, and related work instructions.
• Familiarity with requirement decomposition.
• Provide rapid integration and troubleshooting support for system-level integration.
• Organizational skills to document designs and support production/test of avionics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct non-conformances investigations of avionics electronics components.
• Troubleshoot test equipment using electrical drawings.
• Work through root cause corrective action.
• Assist in requirement decomposition.
• Prepare drawings and documentation for manufacturing.
