Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician in Missouri. The position involves basic diagnostics, oil changes, tire work, and light maintenance.

You will document vehicle conditions using our inspection process and perform state safety/emission checks where allowed, while following safety procedures and company policies. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Current, valid Driver's license.
• State Inspector License preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes, fluid changes and power flushes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using the Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections (where applicable) following guidelines.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Works flexible schedules, including weekends as needed; other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to Sun Auto's policies and Employee Handbook.
