Job summary
Sun Auto Tire & Service is hiring a Junior Automotive Technician in Springfield, MO. You will perform basic diagnostics, tire work, oil changes and light maintenance with a base plus incentive structure.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of automotive technician experience.
- Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics.
- Current, valid Driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Performs basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience.
- Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
- Performs oil changes, fluids changes and power flushes and other basic services.
- Documents vehicle condition using the company inspection sheet and repair orders.
- Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable and compliant.
- Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
- Works flexible schedules including weekends; adheres to policies and procedures.
