Qualifications

• Working proficiency in Python and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub.
• Familiar with CI/CD concepts and GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of AWS services, IAM, networking, and logging.
• Basic experience with Terraform or willingness to learn.
• Security mindset: least privilege, secrets handling, code review.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python scripts, CLIs, API integrations, and scheduled jobs.
• Automate evidence collection, configuration checks, alert enrichment, and basic remediation.
• Write unit tests, logging, and documentation for safe, supportable automations.
• Create and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for linting, testing, scanning, packaging, and deployment.
• Test Terraform modules and plans with guidance; identify insecure cloud patterns.
