Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a QA Automation Tester to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts under seasoned engineers. You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and product teams to define tests and validate system behavior, executing both manual and automated cycles to ensure coverage.

Requirements include 1+ year of experience, exposure to Selenium/JUnit/TestNG/Cucumber, and familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, and Git.

Qualifications

1+ year of professional experience in testing.
Foundational exposure to automated testing via internships or projects.
Ability to design basic automated test cases in Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber.
Understanding of QA methodologies and software quality best practices.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools and version control.
Exposure to Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product teams to gather test requirements.
Create test plans, cases, and scenarios based on specs.
Execute manual and automated tests to validate functionality and coverage.
Identify defects and support root-cause discussions.
Maintain regression suites as features evolve.
Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in process improvements for testing tools and automation.
