Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to support a federal IT program by validating software quality through automated testing, reviews, and results debriefs. You will develop automated test scripts for Java-based systems, collaborate with developers and product managers, and drive CI/CD integration.

The role covers web front-end and microservices validation, including DB and API tests, within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years of hands on automated test coding experience using Java (or development experience with C++ or C#).
• CI/CD, Behavior Driven Development (Cucumber); Java frameworks (Spring, Springboot).
• Experience with Serenity and/or Cucumber; REST/SOAP webservices and APIs, SQL.

Responsibilities

• Participates in QA activities including test case, requirements and design reviews; executes test events.
• Develops automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements.
• Work closely with developers, shared services and product managers to define automation components.
• Develop using Java and execute automated tests on Web Front end and microservice architecture.
• Run test validations at DB, rules, logging, reporting and UI levels.
• Assist with Scrum Team estimation of stories and sizing including test automation and CI integration.
• Contributes to cross-functional teamwork within the Agile project lifecycle.
