You will work under senior engineers to learn BAS architectures, control system design, HMI/SCADA, and PLC/DDC programming. This entry-level role emphasizes learning company standards, performing field commissioning, and contributing to project execution with a focus on accuracy, documentation, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 0–3+ years of experience in industrial automation, instrumentation and controls, PLC/DDC programming, or related field.
• Familiarity with PLC/DDC and HMI configuration, industrial networking, and HVAC systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control System Design: support generation of accurate control system drawings and product selection.
• HMI/SCADA Configuration: instantiate graphics and configure screens per company standards.
• PLC/DDC Programming: assist with tag configuration and control logic using standard templates.
• Testing and Commissioning: assist with bench testing, FAT, and site startup; travel as required (up to 30%).
• Documentation: maintain IO lists, sequences of operations, and test protocols.
• Safety & Compliance: follow safety procedures and complete required training.
• Quality Control: ensure documents and code meet right-first-time standards.
