Job summary

AUTOKINITON US Holdings, Inc. in Chicago, IL seeks a full-time Electrical/Automation Engineer to maintain PLC-based control systems and lead electrical disciplines within the engineering team.

You will support operations with troubleshooting, lean improvements, and project leadership while collaborating with technicians and skilled trades; a bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, controls or automation engineering is required, with master’s a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, controls or automation engineering.
• Master’s degree is a plus and equivalent experience considered.
• Hands-on electrical/mechanical aptitude and reading schematics.
• Strong PLC/CNC/robotics knowledge and lean manufacturing exposure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PLC based control systems for manufacturing automation and instrumentation.
• Coordinate resources to identify root causes and validate fixes.
• Lead projects and assist trades in electrical disciplines.
• Support operations with troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
