Job summary

Delta World Tire in Tupelo, MS is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles, adhering to MAP guidelines and dealership standards. The role involves explaining diagnoses to customers and staff, performing repairs per repair orders, and maintaining ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Preferred: at least one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work five days including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles according to certification/experience level.
• Perform work as outlined on inspection/repair orders with accuracy.
• Explain diagnoses and necessary repairs to customers and store staff.
• Recommend services to keep vehicles running and document recommendations.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns to management.
• Maintain ASE certifications and renewals as needed.
