Job summary

Delta World Tire is seeking a Junior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles on-site. The role emphasizes safe, accurate work aligned with MAP guidelines and dealership and Boyd’s Tire standards.

The position focuses on completing multi-point inspections, communicating with customers, and maintaining ASE certifications while contributing to the shop’s success and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diagnoses vehicles according to level of certification or experience.
• Performs work as outlined on inspection/repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and store staff.
• Recommends services to keep vehicles in running condition and documents them clearly.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles to appropriate certification level and repair as ordered.
• Explain findings and recommended services to customers and staff.
• Complete repairs with accuracy and efficiency according to standards.
• Document all recommendations in the customer file and follow safety rules.
• Maintain current ASE certifications and renewals as needed.
