Placements24 is seeking a Junior Auditor to join its Internal Audit department in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. The role supports senior auditors in planning, executing, and reporting on internal audits with hands-on fieldwork and adherence to audit methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or related business discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of internal audit engagements per the annual plan.
• Perform audit tests, gather evidence, and document findings.
• Review financial records, processes and controls for compliance and efficiency.
• Identify control weaknesses and document findings clearly.
• Prepare working papers and draft audit reports under supervision.
• Communicate with auditees to gather information and clarify findings.
