Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Business level fluency in Japanese and English
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment
• Entry-level internship; typically in third year of a four-year degree or fourth year of a five-year program

Responsibilities

• Supporting audit teams in conducting financial statement audits for Japanese business clients
• Participating in the review and verification of financial documents to confirm accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Assisting in applying GAAP and GAAS during audit processes
• Engaging in data analysis and interpretation to identify financial trends and insights
• Contributing to documentation of audit processes and findings to maintain transparency and integrity
• Collaborating with team members to address issues and manage risks identified during audits
• Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain exposure to PwC's methodologies and practices
• Utilizing accounting skills to support the preparation and presentation of financial reports
• Applying auditing methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency of engagements
• Developing an understanding of internal controls and their role in safeguarding financial information
