Maher Duessel is seeking entry-level staff auditors to join the firm in January 2027 and July 2027. A Staff Auditor performs detailed work on financial statement audits under supervision of senior staff, with minimal out-of-town travel and a strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with firm policies, procedures, and standard forms.
• Understand AICPA rules and FASB/GASB/OMB literature.
• Gain working knowledge of firm tech: Caseware, RIA Checkpoint, CCH, Practice Engine.
• Stay informed on government and non-profit industry developments.
• Suggest audit technique improvements and contribute to team discussions.
• Work toward passing the CPA exam.
