Sbhonline is seeking a Junior Associate Attorney to join our Litigation practice in Cedarhurst, NY. This full-time role targets an attorney with 1–5 years of experience who can work on sophisticated commercial litigation matters within a collaborative team.

You will work alongside seasoned attorneys representing institutional clients, private equity firms, and businesses across industries such as real estate, healthcare, and financial services.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in commercial litigation and related legal matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, motions, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Assist with all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Analyze legal issues and develop effective case strategies.
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
• Review contracts, financial records, and other case-related documentation.
• Collaborate with attorneys across litigation, real estate, and corporate practice groups on complex legal matters.
• Maintain organized case files while managing deadlines and court schedules.
