Job summary

Magnum Systems Inc. in Parsons, KS is seeking an Assembly Technician to join the Assembly department and assemble components into complete products according to customer requirements and the production schedule.

You will read work orders, prioritize tasks, obtain parts, perform wiring and basic testing, inspect parts, and use hand and power tools to build final products. Strong teamwork and adherence to safety standards are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of comparable work experience.
• Trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform small component assembly, general machine assembly, gasket making, basic electrical wiring and other miscellaneous assembly duties.
• Perform complete machine construction including final inspection and checkout.
• Read and understand work orders and stock production needs. Review and prioritize work orders and stock production needs to ensure that products are completed in a timely manner.
• Identify and obtain required component parts for each work order or stock production assembly.
• Inspect parts before and after assembly.
• Use various hand and power tools to efficiently assemble produced component parts into final product.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including special projects.
