Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks an entry-level architect to perform basic architectural assignments under supervision. You will produce design iterations, compile data, and prepare preliminary plans; observe construction, and support the senior team across multiple projects.

Role involves collaboration with senior staff to develop concepts, analyze codes, and document design intent. A Bachelor’s degree is required and NCARB licensure steps are encouraged as you grow in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in architecture or a closely related field.
• 0–3 years of related experience in architectural practice.
• Must establish and maintain an NCARB record for licensure.
• Ability to obtain Architectural license in applicable state(s).
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior staff in developing design concepts and graphic illustrations.
• Prepare studies, reports, and preliminary design calculations.
• Observe construction in the field and support project teams.
• Review regulatory codes and interpret project scope and constraints.
• Collaborate with disciplines to integrate engineering elements into design.
