Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an entry-level professional to perform basic architectural assignments. You will produce design iterations, compile data, observe construction in the field, and work under direct supervision of a licensed architect or senior project manager.

This full-time role involves collaborating with team members, visiting sites, preparing plans, and contributing to project meetings with staff and regulatory agencies to support design solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field is required.
• 0-3 years of related experience in architectural practice.
• Must establish NCARB record in preparation for licensure.
• Ability to obtain architectural licensure in applicable states.
• Complete licensure training within the established time frame.

Responsibilities

• Consult with senior staff to determine functional and spatial requirements.
• Prepare design concepts, studies, and graphic illustrations.
• Prepare studies and reports and assist in due diligence.
• review project scope, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Visit project sites to observe conditions and collect data.
• Assist in coordinating drawings, details, and specifications.
