Job summary

Pembrooke and Ives is seeking a Junior Interior Architect with at least 2 years of experience to work closely with Designers, Project Managers, and Studio Directors to provide support and coordination throughout the project delivery process as a member of the Design Team.

This role involves assisting in drawings, mood boards, 3D models, schedules, and coordination with consultants, clients, and sub-contractors to achieve our design intent within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture.
• Minimum 2 years of interior design/architectural firm experience.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bluebeam, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Designers, Project Managers, and Studio Directors to support project delivery.
• Produce concept images, mood boards, and project drawings including surveys, floor plans and elevations.
• Develop 3D models and renderings; assist with schedules, finishes, fixtures, hardware, and equipment.
• Review bid documents and consultant/shop drawings; assist with site observations and documenting design intent.
• Attend client meetings; prepare meeting agendas and minutes; assist in client presentations.

Pembrooke and Ives is looking for a Junior Interior Architect with at least 2 years' experience to work closely with Designers, Project Managers, and Studio Directors to provide support and co-ordination throughout the project delivery process as a member of the Design Team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Communication & Coordination:

• Coordinates and communicates effectively with project stakeholders including other project team members, clients, vendors, building management, consultants, contractors and sub-contractors to convey project information in a timely and accurate manner.

Project Drawings, Documentation & Deliverables:

• Assists, develops, andproduces concept images and mood boards.
• Assists, develops and produces project drawings including surveys, conceptual drawings/sketches, floor plans, furniture plans, elevations, electrical plans, reflected ceiling plans, lighting plans, framing plans, sections, millwork drawings and detail drawings.
• Assists, develops and produces 3D models and renderings.
• Assists in the production of qualified contractors list.
• Assists the project team in preparingproject documentation including material schedules, finish schedules, fixture schedules, hardware schedules and appliance & equipment schedules.
• Participates in value engineering efforts under the direction of senior team membersto achieve construction budget goals.
• Collaborate with projectteam members to review and comment onbid documents.
• Collaborate with projectteam members to review and commenton consultant drawings, shop drawings and finish samples.
• Assists with inspecting, observing and documenting services provided by contractors and sub-contractors for design intent.

Meetings & Presentations:

• Attends, participates and contributes in meetings with clients, internal project team, contractors, sub-contractors and vendors by preparing agendas, takingnotes, and preparing meeting minutes.
• Assists in the production of client presentations in conjunction with other project team members.

Sourcing, Selection & Specification:

• Assist in sourcing, selectingand specifyingproject materials, finishes, fixtures, hardware, appliances and equipment.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient inRevit, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office programs.
• Possesses good time management skills and is able to handle multiple project deadlines.
• Highly presentable, intelligent, confident and discreet with an outgoing, upbeat and confident demeanor.
• Goal and detail-oriented with exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture.
• At least 2year of demonstrated work experience with Interior Design and/or Architectural Firms.

Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 (depending on experience) + Performance-Based Bonus
