Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Junior Application Developer to support enterprise applications across a modern technology stack. The role offers up to two days of telework weekly and requires AS/SCI clearances, a CS/SE/IS degree, and hands-on experience with Python and front-end technologies.

You will work in an Agile team, developing features, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to modernization efforts across CMIS and related systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IS + 3 years of software development experience.
• Master's degree in a technical discipline + 1 year experience (or 4 years experience in lieu of degree).
• Experience developing enterprise apps with Python.
• Front-end tech: JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML, CSS.
• Troubleshooting production issues and system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in an Agile team to modernize enterprise apps.
• Develop new features and maintain applications across a modern stack.
• Support mission-critical systems and modernization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance and reliability.
• Design proactive monitoring and alerting for issues before impact.
• Build apps using Python, Django, Docker, AWS, JavaScript, ReactJS/Vue.js.
• Manage Docker containers to improve deployment and workflows.
• Diagnose issues across code, infra, integrations, and data environments.
• Apply security, data integrity, and compliance best practices.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, demos.
