Job summary

EPAM Systems in Sunnyvale is seeking an Android engineer to build and maintain apps using Kotlin and the Android SDK within an agile, fast-moving team. You will collaborate with customers and global engineers on a long-term project, explore new mobile technologies, and contribute to code quality through reviews and shared knowledge.

This on-site role emphasizes MVVM/MVI architectures, dependency injection, and a strong learning mindset, with opportunities to grow within a world-class engineering

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of hands-on production experience in Android development, demonstrating readiness beyond an internship level
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK with practical understanding of Coroutines for asynchronous programming
• Solid grasp of dependency injection concepts and their application in Android projects
• Familiarity with architecture patterns including MVVM and MVI in a production environment
• Understanding of agile processes and workflows with working knowledge of Jira
• Strong eagerness to learn new technologies, collaborate cross-functionally, and grow within a global engineering environment
