The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection in Fort Lauderdale seeks a Jr. Risk Management Analyst to join a growing finance team.

You will assist the Treasury Risk Manager in identifying, evaluating, and managing risk, including insurance renewals, COIs, and third‑party documentation. Ideal candidates hold a BA/BS in Finance or related field, with 1+ year of risk analytics experience, strong communication, and a service-minded approach.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or Business Economics.
  • Minimum 1 year of risk analytics experience in a mid-size company.
  • Experience in the cruise industry is a plus.
  • Applicants should be articulate with strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven and analytical with good organizational ability.

Responsibilities

  • Act as cross-functional liaison with internal departments for risk data.
  • Coordinate with brokers and vendors to review COIs and coverage docs.
  • Review insurance docs against contract requirements and identify gaps.
  • Assist in annual insurance renewal process and underwriting submissions.
  • Maintain vessel and operational insurance documentation.
  • Contribute to policy development and risk mitigation processes.
  • Provide timely responses to risk and insurance inquiries.
  • Support Purchase Orders and insurance expense processing in ERP.

Job Summary The Jr. Risk Management Analyst will be an integral part of a small but growing finance team. In this role, you will work closely with the Treasury Risk Manager to assist with identifying, evaluating, and managing risk within the Company. Essential Functions Act as a cross-functional liaison, partnering with internal departments to gather, validate, and analyze exposure data required for insurance renewals, audits, risk assessments, and ad hoc inquiries. Coordinate with insurance brokers, tour operators, port agents, vendors, and other third parties to request, review, and validate Certificates of Insurance (COIs), endorsements, and other coverage documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established insurance requirements. Review third-party insurance documentation against contractual and Company requirements, including coverage types, policy limits, effective and expiration dates, additional insured requirements, and other applicable provisions; identify deficiencies and coordinate follow-up and remediation. Assist in the annual insurance renewal process, including data collection, exposure analysis, underwriting submissions, policy review, and coordination with internal stakeholders and insurance brokers. Maintain vessel and operational insurance documentation, ensuring records are accurate, current, organized, and compliant with maritime requirements and internal standards. Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of risk management policies, procedures, controls, and reporting processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen risk mitigation. Respond to internal and external inquiries related to risk, insurance coverage, third-party insurance compliance, and other risk management matters in a timely and professional manner. Provide ad hoc administrative and financial support for the Risk Management function, including creating and maintaining Purchase Orders within the ERP system, monitoring insurance-related invoices and aging, following up with relevant stakeholders to resolve outstanding items, and supporting accurate and timely processing of insurance expenses.
