Job Title

Junior Analyst, Data Intelligence

As a Junior Analyst at Zeno, you will be at the intersection of numbers and messages. You will learn to utilize tools and strategies to translate news, raw data, and information into valuable business insights and optimization suggestions. You will work closely with PR workstreams to implement data-driven recommendations generated through proprietary in-house learnings at scale and across multiple clients. Our work aims to guide strategic decisions for clients, uncovering insights and real-time optimization opportunities that impact the bottom line.

About the Role

• Blend traditional measurement analytics with high-impact monitoring work.
• Learn and use industry-leading tools to find and aggregate breaking news, data, and information.
• Assist your team with translating raw information into savvy intelligence for clients and account teams via briefs, newsletters, crisis alerts, and traditional reporting.
• Work in lockstep with the digital and account teams.
• Interact with every facet of the organization and, at times, with clients as well.
• Learn about PR and Integrated Communications and the role data plays in making informed decisions.

About You

• 0-2 years of experience.
• Willing to learn how to leverage information from a bevy of sources to assist with analyzing problems.
• Strong appetite for reading and very strong writing skills — able to digest large amounts of information quickly.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Basic experience with digital tools, like Cision, Muck Rack, Talkwalker, PeakMetrics, Google Analytics, NewsWhip, SEMrush, etc.
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications with a focus on Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions, formulas, filtering, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical abilities.
• Basic understanding of marketing and related metrics; a plus.
• Basic knowledge of data mining principles (predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems); a plus.
• Experience with measurement, media planning, and media mix modeling; a plus.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $55,000-$60,000 USD/yr

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, contractual agreements, and business needs. The range is one component of DJEH’s total compensation package, which may include bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
