Job summary

Friedman Real Estate is seeking a Junior AI Solutions Engineer in Farmington Hills, MI to design, build, and deploy AI solutions for brokerage, property management, accounting, and construction teams.

You will work hands-on with exposure to senior leadership and a defined growth path, applying Python, JavaScript, APIs, and data pipelines within a governed Microsoft and AI platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, AI, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience; internships and substantial academic or personal projects will be considered.
• A portfolio or examples of AI solutions you have built.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Python and JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of APIs, data pipelines, and system integration.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Power Platform, Copilot) and with LLM tools such as Claude.
• Understanding of data quality, privacy, cybersecurity, and governance principles.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
• Sound judgment and a realistic understanding of the capabilities and limitations of AI.

Responsibilities

• Build AI workflows, integrations, and reusable components based on business requirements from brokerage, property management, accounting, and construction.
• Work within our technology platform: Claude, Microsoft365 / Copilot, Azure, Power Platform, Power BI, and Yardi.
• Support testing, deployment, monitoring, and tuning of solutions in production.
• Maintain data pipelines and system integrations; monitor data quality and model performance.
• Work within our security, data governance, and compliance standards (Entra ID, Purview, Intune, Defender).
• Develop onboarding materials, user guides, and documentation to support adoption.
• Gather user feedback after deployment and implement improvements.
