Ignite IT, LLC is seeking a Junior AI Prompt Engineer to support CBP efforts in the United States. You will work with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities, develop and refine prompts, and design AI-enabled workflows to improve mission operations.

The role focuses on helping users adopt and apply AI technologies, with responsibilities spanning requirements gathering, prompt design, workflow automation, and continuous improvement. A collaborative, security-conscious environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience applying AI tools to solve business, operational, academic, or technical problems.
• Experience designing, testing, or refining prompts for generative AI platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to understand processes and identify AI opportunities.
• Design, test, and document prompts and prompt workflows for LLM platforms.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency and automate tasks.
• Support demonstrations, training, and user adoption activities.
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and alignment with mission requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams on deployment and integration.
