Job summary

MCI is seeking a creative Prompt Engineer to design, test, and refine prompts for Generative AI systems across customer support, content generation, and workflow automation. You will work with AI Engineers, Product Teams, Data Scientists, and Senior Prompt Engineers to enhance AI interactions and drive innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in AI or related fields, with strong analytical and communication skills and familiarity with LLMs and NLP concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, AI, data science, linguistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in AI, content optimization, research, analytics, or QA.
• Strong understanding of LLMs and generative AI technology.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts and AI model interactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and refine prompts to improve AI outputs across business use cases.
• Evaluate AI responses against quality standards for accuracy, usefulness, and tone.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into prompting solutions.
• Document testing results and best practices; maintain prompt libraries and guidelines.
• Stay current with AI developments and identify opportunities to improve prompt performance.
