Job summary

BIP Capital is hiring a Junior AI Engineer to bring large language models into day-to-day investment platform work. You will work with a Senior AI Engineer to design and ship retrieval-augmented generation systems and prompt-engineered pipelines that support investment and operations teams.

This apprenticeship-style role emphasizes hands-on learning, strong full-stack skills, and curiosity about applied AI. Expect to contribute within a hybrid in-office schedule and grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, AI/ML, Engineering, or related field.
• Solid full-stack fundamentals with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud infra, ideally AWS.
• Hands-on with LLM APIs and multi-modal data.
• Ability to ship features and learn quickly in a team.

Responsibilities

• Add AI capabilities to existing full-stack applications with LLM-powered features.
• Build and improve RAG systems with a Senior AI Engineer.
• Manage context windows, inputs, and model selection strategies.
• Design agentic workflows and multi-step LLM pipelines.
• Prompt-engineer and evaluate LLM workflows with measurable metrics.
• Write clean services and data pipelines between systems.
• Translate business needs into concrete technical problems.
