Job summary

BIP Capital is seeking a Junior AI Engineer to help bring large language models into our investment platform. You’ll work closely with a Senior AI Engineer to design and ship RAG systems and agentic workflows across our full-stack apps.

An apprenticeship-style role emphasizes learning and contributing real work within a few months. Ideal candidates are strong full-stack engineers with curiosity about AI, embeddings, context windows, and tool use, and who want to ship features used by investment

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals and curiosity about applied AI.
• Experience with LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval-based workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and AWS AI services.

Responsibilities

• Add AI capabilities to existing full-stack applications with LLM-powered features.
• Build and improve RAG systems from chunking to retrieval quality and evaluation.
• Manage context windows and model inputs and orchestrate multi-model workflows.
• Design agentic workflows and multi-step LLM pipelines with tool use.
• Write clean services and data pipelines connecting systems.
• Translate operational needs into concrete technical tasks.
