Job summary

Wavestone in Pittsburgh seeks a Junior AI Engineer to join the AI & Data Team, delivering enterprise AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions. You will work with consultants, architects, data scientists, and engineers to design, develop, and deploy AI capabilities that address real business challenges.

You will gain hands-on experience with modern AI tech, cloud platforms, and data-driven environments, contributing to client deliverables and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in CS/DS/IT/Engineering; MBA preferred.
• Open to recent graduates and early-career professionals.
• Experience with Python and ML basics; strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, testing, and deployment of AI/ML solutions.
• Assist in building Generative AI and Agentic AI applications using modern frameworks and cloud services.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, integrations, APIs, and automation workflows.
• Collaborate with team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Configure and evaluate AI models to improve performance and outcomes.
• Participate in data prep, model training, and validation activities.
