Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking an Associate AI Engineer in the United States to design, develop, deploy, and optimize AI, ML, analytics, and data-driven solutions. You will work with AI Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and stakeholders to build foundational skills across AI technologies, cloud platforms, and responsible AI practices.

Two specialization paths are available: AI Engineering and Data Engineering & Analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–3 years in software, AI, data engineering, analytics, or related fields.
• Working knowledge of Python or similar language.
• Understanding of software development principles and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with data structures, databases, APIs, cloud tech, or modern tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Curiosity about AI and data technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and enable AI outcomes.
• Contribute to design, development, testing, deployment, and support of AI/data solutions.
• Participate in agile processes, code reviews, troubleshooting, and improvement activities.
• Document solutions, data sources, workflows, and operational procedures.
• Apply security, governance, privacy, and responsible AI standards.
• Build expertise in cloud, AI, and data technologies through hands-on learning.
