Job summary

FoxEyes Robotics is seeking a Junior AI Engineer in Plano, TX to build AI and computer vision capabilities for a vision-based surgical robotic system. The role focuses on developing AI algorithms for medical software, including object detection, image segmentation, and image inpainting (LaMa).

You will drive data prep, model training, evaluation, and optimization.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python programming.
• Basic understanding of machine learning and deep learning.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch or similar DL framework.
• Experience training, evaluating and fine-tuning AI models to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI algorithms for medical software, including object detection, image segmentation, and image inpainting (LaMa)
• Drive independent improvements to AI solutions across the lifecycle: data preparation and labeling, model training, evaluation, fine-tuning, and performance optimization
• Analyze model performance, troubleshoot issues, and run experiments with alternate approaches to improve results
• Collaborate with other engineers to explore new AI applications for medical software and translate concepts into working AI solutions

Requirements

• Python programming skills
• Basic understanding of machine learning and deep learning
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch or a similar deep learning framework
• Experience training, evaluating, and fine-tuning AI models, with the ability to review performance and make adjustments to improve outcomes
