Qualifications

• Advanced degree with several years of CV/ML experience.
• Strong publication record in CVPR, ICCV, MICCAL or equivalent conferences.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and shell scripting with hands-on DL framework experience.
• Experience with GPU-accelerated algorithms and state-of-the-art AI models.
• Solid understanding of control systems, robotics, kinematics, and dynamics.
• Strong engineering practices, debugging/profiling, and multi-threaded programming.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration in results-oriented environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead research, design, and implementation of AI algorithms for computer vision and multimodal data systems.
• Develop and integrate vision-action and vision-language-action models into surgical AI and robotics pipelines.
• Create validation methods, datasets, and evaluation metrics for clinical dataset scalability.
• Drive prototypes from concept through product integration and collaborate with clinical advisors for iterative improvements.
• Support academic collaborations and advance state-of-the-art through patents and publications.
