Job summary

Fedstack is launching an entry-level AI Engineer program in Arlington, VA, combining paid remote training with hands-on project work. You’ll gain experience in AI-assisted DevSecOps, CI/CD automation, and secure containerization, with a capstone delivering production-ready AI-powered tooling.

During the assignment you’ll collaborate with product, design, security, and compliance teams to ship increments to production standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on coding experience through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and web or backend basics.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in an Agile team.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-assisted DevSecOps practices for secure containerization of legacy apps.
• Develop AI-enhanced CI/CD pipelines that generate security policies and IaC templates.
• Use AI coding assistants for implementation, refactoring, and documentation.
• Generate unit/integration tests to improve coverage and reduce defects.
• Speed up PRs with AI-assisted reviews, summaries, and risk notes.
