Uptime Crew is offering an Entry Level Software Developer (AI Native) program in the Washington DC area. You will start with a 10-week paid remote training, then join a client engineering team on-site with hybrid options.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development, secure DevSecOps practices, and a fast learning Agile environment. Compensation begins at $75,000 in Year 1 and grows to $95,000 in Year 2, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid days off.

Qualifications

• Hands-on coding experience through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and web or backend basics.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in an Agile team.

Responsibilities

• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted DevSecOps practices to accelerate secure containerization.
• Develop and maintain AI-enhanced CI/CD pipelines with automated security policies.
• Use AI coding assistants for implementation, refactoring, and documentation while following guidelines.
• Generate unit and integration tests and improve coverage.
• Speed up PRs with AI-assisted reviews, summaries, and risk notes.
• Query logs and docs with AI to troubleshoot issues.
• Partner with product, design, security, and compliance to ship increments to production standards.
