Job summary

iCatalyst, Inc. is seeking a Jr. AI Developer to join our federal program in the McLean area. The role is hybrid with on-site requirements and local availability to work in the DC/VA/MD region.

Responsibilities include building AI-powered applications using Azure services, developing APIs, and integrating AI into enterprise systems. Candidates should have 1+ year of software development experience and familiarity with Python, REST APIs, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of software development experience, including experience with AI/ML solutions.
• Experience building and deploying AI/ML or LLM-based applications.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications or systems.
• Experience with .NET/C# environments is a plus.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Azure AI Engineer or Azure Data Scientist are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, testing, and deployment of AI-powered applications using Azure AI services.
• Contribute across the development lifecycle for AI solutions with guidance from senior team members.
• Design, develop, and integrate AI-powered capabilities using low-code/no-code platforms to enable scalable automation.
• Build and implement LLM-based solutions including RAG, copilots, and AI-driven automation tools.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs to support AI functionality (Python).
• Maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and inference using Azure data services.
