Job summary

iCatalyst, Inc. seeks a Technical (AI) Intern in McLean, VA for a hybrid role requiring 3 on-site days per week. You will assist on AI-powered apps, governance workflows, and data processing for federal and corporate projects.

The role offers exposure to Azure AI, Power Apps/Automate, and Power BI while learning secure coding and enterprise practices. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a STEM program and eager to grow in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in a STEM field.
• Interest in AI/ML, generative AI, NLP, or software development.
• Foundational Python skills and basic API knowledge.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and data handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, development, and testing of AI-powered apps and governance workflows.
• Prototype AI solutions and experiment with prompts and workflows.
• Help build LLM-based chatbots, copilots, and RAG workflows.
• Contribute to backend tasks in Python and simple APIs.
• Assist in data preparation, ingestion, and evaluation for AI apps.
