Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Edison, NJ is seeking an Engineer to design, build, test, and deploy scalable applications, APIs, and enterprise integrations. You will translate customer challenges into technical solutions, build PoCs, and rapidly prototype to validate requirements while applying AI/GenAI capabilities.

Collaborate with customers, architects, and product teams to deliver business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on programming in Python with strong coding and debugging skills.
• Experience with SQL, data processing, and relational databases.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem solving.
• Experience with Git, version control, and CI/CD practices.
• Working knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Docker/Kubernetes.
• At least 1 year building or supporting AI/GenAI apps using LLMs, prompting, and RAG concepts.
• At least 1 year in application troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer challenges and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications, APIs, and integrations.
• Build PoCs and rapidly prototype solutions to validate requirements.
• Evaluate and apply emerging technologies, including AI/GenAI, to enterprise problems.
• Troubleshoot applications, integrations, and production issues with root-cause analysis.
• Work with Cloud, containerization, and CI/CD to support productions deployments.
• Collaborate with customers, architects, product teams, and engineering stakeholders.
