Job summary

Allinoneemployment is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage monthly cash GL reconciliations and resolution of bank and book errors. The role involves cross-department coordination with AP, AR, Finance, payroll and tax to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate will have an accounting degree with 3+ years of related experience; 5 years in bank reconciliation can substitute for the degree. Onsite work is expected as needed.

• Sort and file bank reconciliation summaries, statements and reports.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS (each duty and function listed indicates % of time)

• Reconcile assigned cash GL accounts on a monthly basis 40%
• Resolve and verify all kinds of bank and book error including review of outstanding payments 15%.
• Communicate with various departments such as AP, AR, Finance, Temp Payroll, Staff Payroll and Tax. 15%
• Reorder copies of cleared checks as requested. Assist on audit preparations. 5%
• Sort and file bank reconciliation summary, statements, statements, reports and other supporting documents 20%

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS (each function listed indicates % of time)

• Journalize monthly cash adjustments, download files, paycard inventory functions 5%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Accounting with minimum of 3 years related experience preferred (however, 5 years of direct bank reconciliation experience is considered in lieu of a 4 year degree).
