Job summary

Robert Half is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the finance team in a full-time consultant role. You will support daily financial operations, maintain records, and assist senior staff across accounts payable/receivable, GL entries, and reconciliations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 1–2 years of accounting experience, with hands-on use of QuickBooks, SAP, Sage, and cloud ERP systems, plus strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a closely related financial field.
• 1–2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Experience with cloud ERP systems and major accounting platforms (QuickBooks, SAP, Sage).
• Strong Excel skills for data management and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, and issue client bills.
• Post daily financial transactions and record journal entries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and review credit card statements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closings and prepare basic financial reports.
• Support audit readiness by organizing documentation and maintaining data integrity.
