Job summary

NOREAS, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. This full-time role is suitable for 0–5 years of accounting experience and recent graduates.

You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, assist with month-end close, manage AP/AR, and help produce financial statements and reports. Government contracting experience and Unanet/QuickBooks familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• MAcc is a strong plus.
• 0–5 years of accounting experience; recent graduates welcome to apply.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Unanet or QuickBooks is a plus.
• Prior government contracting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Help prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Support audits, tax filings, and compliance work.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
• Strong familiarization with Unanet project accounting software.
