Harbor Wholesale in Lacey, WA is seeking an accountant to handle daily and periodic accounting tasks and broader financial projects for multiple legal entities. You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, bank activity, and analysis while supporting audits and management reporting.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 1-2 years accounting experience preferred; ERP experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and SQL reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and enter journal entries.
• Prepare accounts reconciliations and schedules for financial statements.
• Record daily banking activity and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain company licenses and registrations records.
• Assist CFO, Controller and managers with account analysis and reconciliations.
• Maintain analysis spreadsheets and communicate results to department heads.
• Assist with annual audits.
• Other duties as assigned.
