Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1–2 years of professional accounting or finance experience.
Working knowledge of GAAP and fundamental accounting processes.
Experience improving or automating at least one accounting/ data-related process.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced functions.

Responsibilities

Record daily financial transactions in the general ledger and journals.
Reconcile subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger and investigate discrepancies.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable with proper documentation and coding.
Assist in month-end close activities and account reconciliations.
Support audit preparation and respond to information requests.
Identify repetitive processes suitable for automation and improve workflows.
Develop and test automated accounting processes using AI/tools.
