Reports To:Controller

Position Summary:
Vaco has partnered with a manufacturing company and theyare seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting various accounting functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow in the accounting field while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity in financial records.
• Support invoice processing by mail and email
• Key in payments and record billing
• Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and records.
• Collaborate with other accountants and other departments to support day-to-day financial operations.
• Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
