Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team located in Davie, FL.

The Junior Accountant will support the accounting department with data entry, processing, and recording transactions, updating the ledger, assisting with audits or fact-checking, communicating with clients and vendors, and preparing invoices and reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
2. Enter data, send out, and file invoices daily.
3. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve invoice discrepancies.
4. Review billing and collections, ensuring Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable are current.
5. Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management.
6. Process transactions, issue checks, and update ledgers and budgets.
7. Analyze quarterly and year-end financial data to provide insights on company health.
8. Prepare journal entries and perform month-end close tasks.
9. Develop new processes to improve financial efficiency.
10. Assist with tax return preparation and regulatory filings.
11. Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role, including financial statement preparation, general ledger maintenance, and tax compliance.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Quick learner.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP is a plus.
• Multilingual skills (Chinese) are a plus.
