Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team located in Davie, FL.

The Junior Accountant will support the accounting department with data entry, processing, recording transactions, updating the ledger, assisting with audits or fact-checking, communicating with clients and vendors, and preparing invoices and reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
• Perform data entry, and handle the sending out and filing of invoices daily.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Review billing and customer collections, ensuring Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable are up to date.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management.
• Process transactions, issue checks, and update ledgers and budgets.
• Analyze quarterly and year-end financial data to provide insights on company health.
• Prepare journal entries and perform month-end close tasks.
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency.
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and regulatory filings.
• Perform other office tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role, including financial statement preparation, general ledger maintenance, and tax compliance.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously.
• Quick learner.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP is preferred but not required.
• Multilingual skills (Chinese) are a plus but not required.
• Courteous and professional demeanor.
