Ascendo Resources is currently seeking a Junior Accountant for a full-time, onsite role located near Brooklyn, NY.

Compensation for this role goes up to $65,000.

Our client is a fast-growing consumer services company specializing in concerts, sports, and live entertainment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor credit card accounts (daily balance updates, funding reloads, charge/payment tracking)
• Record invoices and process payments in QuickBooks Online
• Process payments through Melio, PayPal, and Wise (upon approval)
• Reconcile banking statements weekly
• Assist with additional ad hoc tasks to support the Chief Accountant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
• Experience with QuickBooks Online required
• Familiarity with Melio, PayPal, or Wise is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a small business setting
