• Assist senior staff with ad hoc projects and reporting.

Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000

Position Overview

Our client, a growing financial services organization, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their accounting team. Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare and process journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Help prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
• Assist with researching and resolving discrepancies
• Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation
• Support senior accounting staff with ad hoc projects and reporting as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience; internships are a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
